Now, Google is offering free Home with purchase of Pixel XL

Google on Tuesday announced that they are offering Google Home for free on purchase of Pixel XL flagship smartphone. The California major notes, “Receive a free Google Home with your Pixel XL.” That means consumers purchasing Pixel XL will also get a free Google Home along with the handset. However, there is a catch. The free Google Home offer is confined to the US only.

The free Google Home offer comes right after a report recently claimed that the company managed to sell out only 1 million units of last years Pixel phones since the launch. To recall, both the Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones were launched back in September last year. Hence, selling only 1 million units in over 8 months is not a big deal for a company like Google, also, after all the hype it created about the devices. Possibilities are Google announced the new free Google Home offer to cross the 1 million mark.

Going back to the offer, by now it is clear that on purchasing a Pixel XL phones, the buyer will be able to get $129 (Rs 8,337) for free. Here’s where, when and how to avail this offer and all the other details.

Where to get the free Google Home?

The offer is limited only to the US. Buyers will have to visit Google Store in the US to avail the offer. It is noteworthy that the offer is available only on purchasing Pixel XL phone and not Pixel.

How to avail the offer?

Consumer first needs to go to Google Store, add both the Pixel XL, which is available at $769 (roughly Rs 49,702) and Google Home, which is available at $129 (roughly Rs 8,337) to the cart.
On adding to the cart, both the products will be see listed. However, the sub total amount will only be $769, basically the price at which Pixel XL phone sells. Beside the total amount, it mentions, “Receive a free Google Home with your Pixel XL”. It also notes, “Your items will be shipped together as soon as they’re ready.”

When does the offer end?

The offer is already on and is only for a limited period though. It started back on June 19 and will end by the end of this month only.
